European stocks end the day mixed. Gains for the week.




Yields little changedThe European main stock market indexes are at the end of the day mixed:

  • Germany’s DAX index is up 0.3%
  • France the CAC is up by 0.1%
  • The UK FTSE is up 0.1%
  • Spain’s Ibex is down -0.8%
  • In italy, the FTSE MIB is down by -0.14%
  • The Portugal PSI 20 is down by -1.46%

For the week, the major indexes are showing gains:

  • Germany’s DAX up 2.6%
  • France’s CAC up 0.4%
  • UK’s FTSE up 0.7%
  • Spain’s Ibex index up 1.5%
  • In italy, the FTSE MIB up 1.5%
  • The Portugal PSI 20 ended down -0.7%

In 10 years, the debt market today:

  • Germany 0.364, down -1 basis point
  • France 0.753%, a Decrease of -0.6 basis points
  • United KINGDOM no 1.267%, 0.5 basis points
  • Spain 1.474%, -1 point basis
  • Italy 1.79%, -0.7 basis points
  • Portugal 2.067%, -3 basis points
  • Greece 5.139%, +5.6 basis points

In other markets, such as London/European traders look to the output:

  • Spot gold is down about eight dollars to $1268
  • WTI crude oil $.45 to $55
  • The yields of the U.S. treasury, are seeing a flattening of new. 2-year yield 1.6245%, +1.6 basis points, 5-year yield 2.006%,, +0.6 basis points. 110 the performance of the exercise 2.343%, unchanged. 30-year yield 2.82%, -0.5 basis points
  • U.s. equities are higher: S&P index up 0.21%. The NASDAQ is up 0.45%. Dow up 0.15%

Finally, the Canadian dollar is the strongest currency, while the Australian dollar is the weakest. The U.S. dollar is mixed, with games against the EUR, JPY, CHF, AUD and NZD and down against the GBP and CAD.
