Investing.com — UK public finances rose less than expected in September, official data showed on Wednesday.
In a report by the Office for National Statistics said that UK borrowing increased Public sector net on a seasonally adjusted basis to 5.33 billion, of 4.14 billion euros in the previous month, whose figure was revised down from 5.09 billion.
Analysts had expected to increase net borrowing to 5.70 billion.
According to the report, the GBP/USD has been trading at 1.3134, compared to 1.3127, while EUR/GBP was at 0.8986 of 0.8987 short.
